Holly Jolly

It’s super easy to mix ‘n match Evelin T Designs sets to create a simple design! This card combines three different sets:

I combined images from Be Merry and Best Friends Fur-Ever.

The sentiment is from Season’s Greetings. I generally stay with the same color palette so it’s super easy to put together a card. Here are the copics I used:

R30 | R21

R20 | R22

YG000 | YG01 | YG03

BV00 | BV11

W0 | W1 | W3

This is my final post on the Evelin T Designs blog. I’ve had so much fun designing with Evelin’s stamp sets. I feel fortunate to have been able to meet up with her a couple times. A big Thank You for having me on the team!

Season’s Greetings

Happy Monday! It’s Amy here with a bit of a caffeinated card design that I designed especially for the Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. Evelin T Designs is one of the Super Sponsors for this event. Link up a caffeinated design for a chance to win.

My project uses images from the Be Merry set. The images have been stamped on Bristol and colored with Karin brushmarkers. I tend to be a copic girl but love the look of watercoloring.

The sentiment is from the Season’s Greeting set.

The background is a blended Distress Oxide one by Kristina Werner:

Antique Linen | Dried Marigold | Crackling Campfire

If you’re new to ink blending, I highly recommend the Distress Oxides and Bristol paper. Distress Oxides are much more forgiving the the original Distress Inks. By also using the blending brushes and Bristol paper, it makes the color transition a bit more seamless. I could never get the foam applicators to work for me.

I hope you have an amazing week!

Wishing you a Magical & Blissful Holiday!

Hello and Happy Monday! It’s Amy here with a bit of holiday inspiration. I’m starting to gear up for the holiday’s, how about you? This year I really want to get my cards out during Thanksgiving weekend so that I don’t have to stress in December.

Today’s card combines Good Tidings to You and Warm Winter Wishes:

If you’ve been following me, you know that I’ve been really loving the pastel palette. These images were super quick for me to color.

I love how the sets are easy to mix and match. This particular design is super postal friendly even though it has several layers of cardstock.

I hope you have a fabulous week!

Eat, Drink and Be Scary!

Hello! It’s Amy here and I’m sharing a halloween themed slimline project today. I really love making fall themed cards and halloween is generally a favorite. This year I haven’t made as many as I have in the past, but I still have a couple of weeks to remedy that.

Today I’ve combined All Hallow’s Cuteness and It’s BOO-Tastic! These sets are so much fun and two of my favorites! I added a non-traditional color to my halloween designs and love how it turned out.

Every image on this particular card is on foam dimensionals. I love how it adds more interest to the overall design.

I hope you have an amazing week!

Best Times

Happy Monday! It’s Amy here with a card that features Best Friends Fur-ever. I was going to keep the design super clean and simple but ended up layering three different colors of cardstock.

I love the interest it gives the card design while still keeping it postal friendly. Those cute images have been colored with the following copics:

R000

YR000 | YR01

BG10 | BG32

E31

C0 | C1

I hope you have an amazing week!

Thank you

Happy Monday! It’s Amy here with a Thank You card. This combines the images from Life Is Beautiful along with a sentiment from Under The Sea: Narwhal.

I needed to design a thank you card and knew that I wanted to use the plants from the Life is Beautiful set. I kept the same color palette for the plants and changed it up for their containers.

The copics I used are:

YG01 | YG03

V01 | V12

E21 | E53

E42 | E43

YR24 | YR27

W00 | W0 | W1

Sadly, I don’t have much of a green thumb, these are my kind of plants!

I hope you have an amazing week!

Coffee All Day

Happy Monday! It’s Amy here with a card that I designed using some of Evelin T Designs’ digital designs. Did you know that they’ve added several different designs in their shop? My card for today combines their Coffee, Beth? and Dino-Mite Birthday.

I printed the images on my laser printer on 80 lb paper. I was going to send them through my Scan ‘n Cut but decided to just fussy cut, sometime I find that it is faster. I used various copic markers to color the images. That Beth is so cute, isn’t she?! That’s what I look like when I drink my coffee [wink!].

I couldn’t resist, I had to add that bow on her. I also added a small enamel green heart on her dress. It gives the overall design a smidge of texture.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have an amazing week!

coffee + you = happiness

Hey, it’s Amy and I’m super excited to share a couple of cards that I made with the Coffee Art set.

These cards are super tiny, 2.75 x 4.25.  I wanted them to be smaller to be able to let the design really take over.

Are you team coffee or tea?  I’m both.  I wanted to use that tea bag image so I just die cut a super old to go cup and embellished it with the stamp.

Did you know that there is such a thing as Coffee Singles packaged like a tea bag?  I picked up some  and will tuck in the card and send one each to each of my kids.

That’s it for me, I hope you have an amazing week!

Coffee Art Trio

Hey you!  It’s Amy here with a card trio that came together super quick.  Here’s a peek at the set:
I spotted THIS sketch and decided I should use some of the paper pads that I recently purchased to make a quick card set.  The main images I used are from the Coffee Art set.  What makes things easier for me is to keep the same overall color palette in all of the cards that I am creating.
It goes without saying that using the same card design makes it super easy too!  Less of a thought process.  I cut 4 panels from one paper pad and mixed and matched the patterns.  This sentiment, Wishing You’re Here,  is from the Sneaky Kitties set.  With our state in Stay Home mode until at least May 4th, I’ll be sending this one to my girl.  I miss her and she loves plants and coffee.
This card with the green foliage strip has a sentiment from the same set as the coffee cup, Coffee Art.
In an effort to make my designs postal friendly, there is no foam adhesive.  Oh boy, that’s a challenge for me.  Those ‘enamel dots’ are actually called ‘puffy dots’ and are squishy as opposed to the traditional enamel dots.
This is my final design.  I’m a sucker for gingham.  This sentiment is from the Evergreen Foliage set.
That’s it for me!  Stay Safe!

Better than People

Hey Happy Monday!  It’s Amy here sharing a card duo that features Reading Buddies and Coffee Loving Critters.  I originally was only planning on doing the A2 sized one but spotted a scrap 4.25 x 4.25 inch coral cardstock base so decided to do a fun version.  First up is the A2 one:

I was super pleased when I could get that rabbit [Coffee Loving Critters] to perch on top of the stack of books [Reading Buddies].

I wanted to keep the overall design very clean + crisp.  The sentiment is perfect for what we are currently facing around the world and to keep the social distancing on topic.

I’m especially happy when I can design a postal friendly design…no bumps!

My second design is really just the same as my first but smaller 4.25×4.25 and a bit cheekier.

I combined sentiments from Reading Buddies and Coffee Loving Critters.

I love how fun this turned out.  It will be going to a coffee loving friend.

Stay well everyone!
