Thank you for being you

Hey Hello!
It’s Amy here sharing a quick card set that I whipped up especially for today.  It features the beautiful Evergreen Foliage set:

I knew I wanted to color up the Evergreen Foliage set and decided to show a super simple design with minimal coloring.

I love coloring but sometimes you just want to design a quick card.  The fastest way for me to do multiple designs is to keep the overall look the same but change the color.  Since the design is so clean + crisp, I decided to add a dry embossed background.

I was going to change out the Foliage image but decided since the one was already set up in my Mini MISTI I kept all the stamps the same.

It was super stress free putting this set together.  These are some of my holiday thank you’s.  I’m super tardy sending them out but I love the design 🙂

I hope you have an amazing week!

Birthday Brew

Hello and Happy Monday!  I might be waking up to a winter wonderland this morning!  I thought I should design a project that will keep things cozy.  I’m featuring the Coffee Art set:

I went with a pink + green color palette.  Who can resist a shaker card?

A super fun way to celebrate a special person’s birthday.  I’ll slip in a Starbucks gift card.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a great week!

Fun in the Snow Trio

Hello and Happy Monday!  It’s Amy here with a winter card trio.  I used the images from the Fun in the Snow set and teamed them up with a sentiment from Warm Winter Wishes.

My intention wasn’t to design three cards but since I had all those cute images from the Fun in the Snow set, I decided to go ahead and use them all up.

They were super quick to put together since they’re 4.25 x 4.25 with minimal copic coloring.  I used the same overall design for each of them.

I used a pool die cut from my stash to create their ice skating rink.  Skating by starlight, sounds fun to me!

The New Years is almost here, can you believe it?  I wish you all joy, love and happiness!

Warm Winter Wishes

Hello and Happy Monday!  It’s Amy here with a cozy winter card.  Have you seen the sweet Warm Winter Wishes set?
I teamed those sweet critters with some super vintage Basic Grey pattern paper that became my overall color palette.  My favorites are of course, the coffee drinking buddies.

I kept a large portion of my design white so that the dark pattern wouldn’t take over the card.  I love plaid so this pattern is calling my name.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you have a fantastic week!

Boo!

Hello and Happy Monday!  It’s Amy here with a Halloween design featuring It’s Boo-Tastic!  I love designing scenes using this fun set:

The stripes of color are suppose to make you think of candy corn [wink].

I’ve said it before but that bear totally makes me think of Michael Jackson’s Thriller video!  The images have been colored with copic markers:

YR04 | YR18
Y11 | Y19
YG23 |YG25
V15 | V17
T0 | T1
W0 | W3

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you have an amazing week!

Reading Buddies + Critters

It’s Amy here with a card that combines Reading Buddies and Coffee Loving Critters.

The mint card base is 4.25 x 9.25 inches.  The Bristol panel is 4.0 x 9.0 inches.  I stenciled mint colored clouds on the Bristol panel and added a grassy border.

I stamped the images from both Reading Buddies and Coffee Loving Critters in copic friendly black ink.  I colored them with a ton of different copics but my overall color palette was inspired by THIS color trio.

Here are the various copic colors I used:

  • R20
  • YR09 | YR16
  • Y21 | YR23
  • BG11 | BG34
  • E40 | E42
  • E50 | E51
  • E55
  • T0 | T1
  • N5 | N7

I hope you have an amazing week!

Coffee + Kitties

Hello Hello!  It’s Amy here with a couple cards that I’m so excited to share with you today.  First up is a card that combines the Coffee Art + Coffee Loving Critters sets:

I decided to do all my stamping with Memento Rich Cocoa.  I started off with some quick stenciling using Distress Oxide – Antique Linen.   I fussy cut the stacking mugs from Coffee Art and the bunny from Coffee Loving Critters.

I’ve actually been enjoying fussy cutting these days.  It’s been super relaxing for me.

My copic colors I used:

R20 Y15 | Y19
BG13 | BG15
E0000 | E51

I heat embossed the sentiment from Coffee Art in white on kraft cardstock.   I mounted everything on an Aqua panel.  The middle stack of mugs, the bunny and the sentiment have all be adhered with foam squares.   I went ahead and whipped up an extra card especially for today.  I wanted to use Sneaky Kitties and send my girl [the green thumb] some happy mail:

The image has been stamped with Versafine Onyx on Bristol.  It has been colored with Zig Clean Color Markers.

If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you’ll know that green is my favorite color.  It was so relaxing to color this.  For this I colored zig on zig.  I blend with a lighter zig marker.  Do you see the random pops of Zig English Lavender?

I’m super happy how this turned out and think it will make my girl smile.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Evergreen Foliage and Alpha Blocks

Hello Evelin T Design Fans!  It’s Amy with my first design post.  I’m so excited to show you what I made especially for today!  I’m featuring the Evergreen Foliage and Alpha Blocks sets.

My card front consists of 5 layers.  I love to incorporate layers for added interest without the additional bulk of foam adhesive.  Today’s card also includes cork layers.

I’ve been paying more attention to the interior of my cards.  I added an additional greeting.  Don’t you just love the Alpha Blocks set?  The options are endless!

I’m pretty sure that everyone loves Happy Mail!  I kept my overall color palette the same.     What are some of your favorite color combos?  I’d love to hear from you!
