I created three different layers with all these cute images and I colored them with Copic sketch markers. Then, I used some foam tape to pop some of the images and for the others I used strips of clear acetate to give the effect of swimming fish.
Since I love using patterned paper, I chose some happy colors that would enhance my scene a bit more. This was totally simple to create and I might add totally fun.
Hello everyone! {creative chick}, Jenn Shurkus here and I am wicked excited to be guest designing for Evelin T Designs this month! For those who don’t know me, I am a part-time mermaid and live on Cape Cod in MA. I am only 5 minutes from the beach, and I spend a lot of time there (brushing up on my mermaid skills š )
So, it was only fitting for my first card to share with you be a mermaid card! Even better that this is a “purr-maid” as I have 3 kitties who keep me company in my studio.
First, I stamped all the images with Antique Linen Distress Ink. Then I proceeded to color them in with various Distress Ink colors. It’s so fun how the stamped line will take on the property of the Distress Ink color that you are painting it with. Some of the items were stamped directly onto the background, while some were stamped on another piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock and fussy cut out, then added to this underwater scene.
I love creating cards with kitties, and I often color them to look like one of my boys. But this time I decided to color this cutie a soft brown. Shhh… don’t tell my kitties ok? I absolutely LOVE this sentiment “be a mermaid and make waves” – such a fun message of encouragement!
Hello Crafty Friends! I hope everyone is having a fantastic Wednesday! Itās Marie (@marneymakesart) back again for another card share! Today I am very excited to share my completed card using Evelinās digital stamp called āCute Is Just My Coverā I fell so in love with this image because it has everything I love… Adorable Peek a boo bunnies, mushrooms, and lush greenery! Taking all this whimsical cuteness, I decided to make a simple hello card against a night time backdrop. First off, I printed my digital images on low opacity so I could achieve the āno line coloringā look.

coloring this image was so much fun! When working with digital images, color pencils are my favorite! My preferred pencils are PolyChromos By Faber-Castell. They are very creamy in a non waxy way and blend beautifully. I had a lot of room to work within the mushroom image so I wrote the word Hello Inside it as my main sentiment and colored it in as I would the mushroom dots .

When I was brainstorming how I would put together my card, I wanted to have a scene that was rich with vibrant greens! Thatās when I remembered that I had Evelinās Stamp set called āBest Friends Fur-everā In that set there is an image of lush leaves and bushes that Was absolutely perfect for my scene! I stamped it out twice using No line coloring ink. Now my main mushroom image would be surrounded by green on both sides complimenting the red. For the night time background, I used Distress Oxide inks. These inks are an absolute staple in every craft stash! Ink colors used include: dusty concord, seedless preserves, mowed lawn, forest moss, and chipped sapphire.

When I completed my scene, I added some gold and white stars to give it that starry sky finishing touch. I absolutely love how this card turned out! I canāt wait to send some snail mail soon!!

I’m so excited to share this card with you because it turned out exactly how I had hoped it would! I had this lovely idea of a girl reading a spooky story and her interpretation of the story is brought to life in the vision above her.
I made this card by stamping images fromĀ Best Friends Fur-EverĀ andĀ All Hallow’s Cuteness, then creating masks for them. I used a retired Quotables DieĀ (alternates are listed on my blog)Ā to create the separation between reality and fantasy. Then I used a Cloud StencilĀ to sponge the background.
After the background was completed, I sprayed water droplets on the top panel and removed the masks. Then I watercoloured the images with distress inks and adhered the two panels to the card base. To add mystique, I used IridescentĀ StarsĀ on both panels.

Hello Evelin T Designs Friends! Today I want to share three different ways I am using the new Floral Surprise stamp set in my traveler’s notebook. I started this notebook documenting my daughter’s journey of ballet. She has stayed with it since 2 and has been with the same ballet studio since 4. I had these pages prepped ahead of time using white cardstock and watercoloring the background. Then, I used the Floral Surprise stamp with blue ink to stamp partially onto my background.
I added two sentiments on this page, one at the top and one on a die cut. I finished with journaling and embellishments.
For the next page, I did partial stamping onto die cuts that I adhered onto my page. This gives the look that the image is part of the die cut.
I then repeated with more of the sentiments and embellishments to this page as well.
I had to add a little sentiment to this bottom photo. So perfect. I stamped onto the photo with Staz-On ink.
For my third and last way, I heat embossed in a copper color onto the background. For each page, I did pull from the colors of the costumes or in this case the feel of them. So I think the heat embossing gives a beautiful effect here.
And again I used the sentiments from the stamp set on my die cuts and my pages.
I love the texture that this stamp set gives to backgrounds. It is definitely a great focal point stamp for cards, but it is perfect for creating different backgrounds for your memory keeping. And the sentiments, the fonts, just perfect for adding to my story and the details.

Hello! I hope everyone is having a really great week so far! My name is Marie (@marneymakesart) over on Instagram and today I am so honored and happy to be here today as a guest designer for Evelin T Designs! The card I am sharing features the incredibly adorable digital stamp image called āCoffee (n.) Survival Juiceā ! Evelinās designs are so adorable, whimsical, positive , and uplifting! I canāt say enough good things! I decided to create an encouragement card that would be perfect for that one over-worked friend you want to treat to coffee! This adorable little Barista has come to save the day with coffee and sweet treats!!Ā
Printing Out images on super low opacity
Firstly, I turned the opacity down low before I printed out the digital images on 110 lb card-stock paper. This mimics no line coloring ink. The image is printed out in a light grey tone so that it will blend with the color mediums you choose to use. In this case, I use Polychromos Colored Pencils by Faber Castell to color the images. I printed out more than one of the same image so I could practice and choose which color combination I liked best. Once I was done coloring, I worked on my card base. I choose a dark brown color to mimic the color of coffee and with a scalloped rectangle die, I cut out my base.

For my background, I really wanted to keep it simple so the little Barista could be the focus. So, I used a brick background stencil and some White distress ink. Afterwards, I cut out a white frame to give the card a simple white border. I also used some vintage photo distress ink to add a coffee like tint to the sides of my border. Then the fun part was just positioning and playing around with my image. I used a speech bubble die and a āhang in thereā sentiment of encouragement. I also used letter dies to create āitās Coffee Time!!ā Sentiment! I love how letter dies look like you have done some embossing!
Lastly, I finished off my cards with some charming star accents of white and gold to compliment the word āCoffeeā. I am so beyond happy with how my card turned out and I canāt wait to mail this to a friend or loved one that needs a little pick me up! Itās so easy to be inspired to create cards when you have such adorable images!!!

I made this for a friend who’s about to file for divorce. Yes, in the middle of a pandemic, so it’s a good reminder to us all that other people have much heavier burdens than we do and we should count our blessings.

Here, I’m featuring theĀ Life is BeautifulĀ stamp set which is filled with sweet plants, room decor and a meditating girl who’s one of my most favouriteĀ Evelin T DesignsĀ images ever. Next, I created the room setting first, stamping all the paintings and little tables of succulents. Then, I water-coloured all the images with distress inks and fussy cut the two friends and popped them up on the card.
To finish, I masked off the wall and ink blended a floor and adhered some iridescent butterfly sequins to embellish the card and add some shimmer.

Hello Evelin T Designs Friends! I have a bold clean design in my Traveler’s Notebook to share with you that was inspired by the new Evelin T Designs Life is Beautiful and Positive-Tea stamps along with my tea obsession! They worked so well together! I have been on a mission to find a favorite Green Jasmine, which then lead me to find an Earl Grey. I have quite a collection of teas already, but wanted these especially to rotate with my coffee drinking š After taking a photo of my newest collection of teas, I white embossed with the Life is Beautiful stamps on the Altenew Balmy Pattern paper. I added the coordinating washi tape along the edge, trimmed, and added white machine stitching.
I adhered these pieces to my white background, adding another strip of wash in contrasting colors with my inked cups and my sentiment from the Positivi-Tea Stamps. Before adhering anything, I penciled in where my journaling would go to send through my typewriter. I love the simplicity you can get from these stamps with the white embossing on pattern paper blocked, and then the colored stamping for the title and background. It creates great color and movement.
I did the same thing on the right side where my photo is, and then finished with die cuts and chipboard from the new Altenew Enjoy the Ride, as well as a circle chipboard from Pinkfresh Studio.
The Evelin T Designs stamps work perfectly with these gorgeous bold colors, die cuts, as well as the simplicity I wanted in documenting about my obsession.

I started off with a panel of white cardstock, and stamped all the images around it – making sure to stamp the clouds off the edge of the paper to make it feel like the scene continued on past the panel.
I did some very simple Copic coloring on the images – keeping the colors nice and light and bright. I also added the look of a touch of grass at the bottom with the markers.
Once I had the image colored in, I added a layer of white cardstock underneath in a thin frame – just to keep it separated from the busy pattern paper underneath. Then I mounted it with foam adhesive over that happy plaid pattern paper!

Hello and happy Wednesday everyone!! Mayra here from Mayras Designs. I am so happy to be back with another post as a guest designer for the wonderful Evelin T Designs Digital Stamps. This week, I created a set of three cards to share with you using the super beautiful Floral Banner digital stamp. I loved coloring these images. On one of the images, I printed it with a lighter outline to give the no-line coloring appearance. This digital stamp comes with several sentiments and I chose the sentiment ‘Be Still and Know’.
To color the images, I used Copic markers. Firstly, to color the green areas, I used two different tones of greens. On some of the leaves, I used G29, YG67, YG17, YG25, and YG01. As for the olive green, I used BG90, YG91, BG93, YG99, YG97, and BG96. To achieve the layered burgundy color, I used RV34, RV69, R89, R59, RV66, and RV95. Lastly, for the pink/peach, R32, R30, and R00 was used.
For the base of my cards, I used Distress Oxide ink to add color to them. The colors I used are Speckled Egg and Tumbled Glass. I then added a couple of white splatters to each of them. To finish my cards, I added foam tape to the back of each colored image and adhered it to them to the card bases.
