Hello Evelin T Designs Friends! I am really enjoying doing Memory Planning as a way to capture the routines of our lives. I find Evelin T Designs stamps a great way to create and use my own images over and over again whether by stamping and fussy cutting or stamping directly onto my planner. Stamps were always my go-to for getting so much out them than just one use! So here is a look at how this spread came together.

Firstly, I take a look at the photos for the week and then decide which to print larger and which to print smaller. Then, I start adding the stamping, die cuts and stickers after I adhere the photos to my pages.

I always have extra stamped and colored images. All I had to do was to add the images from the Positivi-Tea, Best Friends Fur-Ever!, Life is Beautiful, Take a Leap of Faith stamp sets I used to where they would help tell the story and fill in my collage. The sentiments are perfect for adding to die cuts or directly to my planner too. The fonts and sayings go so well with the style of my planner.

I needed a few more stamped and colored images for this layout. But it was easy to do. I knew exactly which ones I needed. The coloring was quick since I already had my colored laid out. I love the details the stamps add. My favorite little cluster is the ‘Sunday Ride’ with the Alpha Blocks set, the ‘Be You’ sentiment from Life is Beautiful, and the leftover stamped and colored cloud from Take a Leap of Faith at the bottom.

All Things Grow with Love | Traveler’s Notebook | Patricia

Hello Evelin T Designs Friends! Today I want to share three different ways I am using the new Floral Surprise stamp set in my traveler’s notebook. I started this notebook documenting my daughter’s journey of ballet. She has stayed with it since 2 and has been with the same ballet studio since 4. I had these pages prepped ahead of time using white cardstock and watercoloring the background. Then, I used the Floral Surprise stamp with blue ink to stamp partially onto my background.

I added two sentiments on this page, one at the top and one on a die cut. I finished with journaling and embellishments.

For the next page, I did partial stamping onto die cuts that I adhered onto my page. This gives the look that the image is part of the die cut.

I then repeated with more of the sentiments and embellishments to this page as well.

I had to add a little sentiment to this bottom photo. So perfect. I stamped onto the photo with Staz-On ink.

For my third and last way, I heat embossed in a copper color onto the background. For each page, I did pull from the colors of the costumes or in this case the feel of them. So I think the heat embossing gives a beautiful effect here.

And again I used the sentiments from the stamp set on my die cuts and my pages.

I love the texture that this stamp set gives to backgrounds. It is definitely a great focal point stamp for cards, but it is perfect for creating different backgrounds for your memory keeping. And the sentiments, the fonts, just perfect for adding to my story and the details.

Thanks so much for letting me share, and hope this inspires you to get creative with the Floral Surprise stamp set!

A Cup of Positivi-Tea | Traveler’s Notebook | Patricia

Hello Evelin T Designs Friends!  I have a bold clean design in my Traveler’s Notebook to share with you that was inspired by the new Evelin T Designs Life is Beautiful and Positive-Tea stamps along with my tea obsession!  They worked so well together!  I have been on a mission to find a favorite Green Jasmine, which then lead me to find an Earl Grey.  I have quite a collection of teas already, but wanted these especially to rotate with my coffee drinking 😉  After taking a photo of my newest collection of teas, I white embossed with the Life is Beautiful stamps on the Altenew Balmy Pattern paper.  I added the coordinating washi tape along the edge, trimmed, and added white machine stitching.

I adhered these pieces to my white background, adding another strip of wash in contrasting colors with my inked cups and my sentiment from the Positivi-Tea Stamps.  Before adhering anything, I penciled in where my journaling would go to send through my typewriter.  I love the simplicity you can get from these stamps with the white embossing on pattern paper blocked, and then the colored stamping for the title and background.  It creates great color and movement.

I did the same thing on the right side where my photo is, and then finished with die cuts and chipboard from the new Altenew Enjoy the Ride, as well as a circle chipboard from Pinkfresh Studio.

The Evelin T Designs stamps work perfectly with these gorgeous bold colors, die cuts, as well as the simplicity I wanted in documenting about my obsession.

Thank you so much for coming by the Evelin T Designs blog. Lots more inspiration from the tea and our guest designer this month!

Emma’s World | Patricia Roebuck

Hello Friends! Hope you have enjoyed the new 2020 Evelin T Designs Release and have decided on stamps that you want to add to your creative supplies. Today, I’m going to be using the new Best Friends Fur-Ever! along with the Alpha Blocks stamp set, which is older but works perfectly with the new stamp set. I had a lot of fun creating cards with the new release, but for today, I’ll be creating in my Traveler’s Notebook.

The first thing that I did was stamp the clouds and the girl from the Best Friends Fur-Ever! set using Staz-On ink. For this project, I left the clouds as it is, but colored the girl with watercolors. I also stamped the tiny daisies, coloring one of them, trimming and adhering to the girl’s shirt…such a cute detail!

Since this is all about my daughter’s world, I cut out a round cut file from JustNick Studio and backed it with a starry blue pattern paper with colorful rays…perfect for my 12-year old. This set the base of my left side. Next, I stamped my title using the Alpha Blocks in Staz-On, trimmed them in rectangles, and then added watercolors to coordinate. I used Photoshop Elements to create a circle photo to trim and adhere on my circle, and then placed the title around the curve and the cute girl next to the photo.

I have wanted to use this adorable girl for a memory keeping project with my daughter as soon as I saw her, she is just perfect. To create dimension with the clouds, I popped them up with foam adhesive around my page. For the right side, I wanted journaling about her and the things she enjoys doing. I’ve already been corrected in misspelling Avatar…LOL I’ll have to mark that out later, but this is so her right now.

I have a lot of color (mine and especially my daughter’s favorite) on the left, so I continued that with the journaling on labels and coordinating embellishments with it. It helps to balance both sides of my spread.

Hope this inspires you on more ways to use your Evelin T Designs Stamps! Thanks so much for letting me share!

More June Release Cards | Patricia

Hello Friends!  I have a few cards I wanted to share on the Evelin T Designs blog here using the Floral SurpriseUnder the Sea: MerFriends, and the Best Friends Fur-Ever! sets.

First is the Floral Surprise.  The first card, I colored the entire image with watercolors, let dry, and then came back with detail using polychromos pencils.  For this second card today, I used just the polychromes pencils for a softer look.

After the first layer of coloring, I went back with a just a little bit of shading, keeping this soft.  For the base of the card, I blended a pale blue ink, fussy cut the stamped and colored image, and foam adhered.

Before foam adhering, I placed and stamped the sentiment at the bottom.  LOVE Evelin’s fonts for sentiments!

Next, is the Under The Sea: Merfriends stamp set.  I colored all the images with watercolors, let dry, and fussy cut them out.  Then I went looking in my stash of leftover mixed media creations and found pieces along with pattern paper from my stash to layer for my base.

For the first layer of the card panel, I used a die cut leftover from my first card using this set, then layered and stitched the pattern paper and mixed media panel for my background.  The background was made with Nuvo Shimmer Powder and Embellishment Mousse.  Then I adhered my images.

I used another leftover mixed media piece to stamp my sentiment.

Next is the Best Friends Fur-Ever! stamp set.  I colored all of these pieces with watercolor, fussy cut them out, and then used pattern papers from my stash to create a base, then clustered the images together.

And again, I am so happy with Evelin’s fonts and sentiment choices.  So usable and so many possibilities. My first card I created with this set, was just the larger monster and a coffee sentiment.

Hope you have enjoyed the teams inspiration and have picked some favorite sets to purchase!  Hard to choose, but really ALL so wonderful!
