Wishing…

Hello Evelin T. Design Friends… Annette Allen here with you today and I am sharing a card created using the very cute Sneaky Kitties stamp set.

This set is so fun to color. I used Copic sketch markers and added a little white gel pen here and there.

I love beach themed cards so I thought this was perfect for created such a card. It reminds me of Hawaii with all the leaves and then I used this fun die to add the palm trees. I fussy cut around the image to give it some dimension.

The background was created using Ranger oxide inks and a splashed a little water to get the texture. Finishing up with stamping this fun sentiment.

That is all for today.
Thanks for stopping by.

Coffee Art Trio

Hey you!  It’s Amy here with a card trio that came together super quick.  Here’s a peek at the set:
I spotted THIS sketch and decided I should use some of the paper pads that I recently purchased to make a quick card set.  The main images I used are from the Coffee Art set.  What makes things easier for me is to keep the same overall color palette in all of the cards that I am creating.
It goes without saying that using the same card design makes it super easy too!  Less of a thought process.  I cut 4 panels from one paper pad and mixed and matched the patterns.  This sentiment, Wishing You’re Here,  is from the Sneaky Kitties set.  With our state in Stay Home mode until at least May 4th, I’ll be sending this one to my girl.  I miss her and she loves plants and coffee.
This card with the green foliage strip has a sentiment from the same set as the coffee cup, Coffee Art.
In an effort to make my designs postal friendly, there is no foam adhesive.  Oh boy, that’s a challenge for me.  Those ‘enamel dots’ are actually called ‘puffy dots’ and are squishy as opposed to the traditional enamel dots.
This is my final design.  I’m a sucker for gingham.  This sentiment is from the Evergreen Foliage set.
That’s it for me!  Stay Safe!

I think you are PAWsome – Sneaky Kitties and Colored Pencils

Hello! Heather Hoffman here this morning with a card using the adorable Sneaky Kitties stamp set – this is a super fun image to sit and color, and while I had done it before with Copic markers, I decided to try it with colored pencils for today’s card!

I hadn’t used my Polychromos colored pencils in quite a while, and thought it would be a great opportunity to break them out and do a bit of coloring. So relaxing and fun to play with coloring sometimes! I stamped the images in a deep brown ink on some rustic cardstock before coloring.

I also love tucking parts of larger images behind windows – I love how it changes the entire feel of the image. And those little sneaky kitties are super cute!

I combined a die from Avery Elle and from Mama Elephant to create the layers in two shades of green, then mounted on a cardbase created from that same rustic cardstock the images are stamped on, and added the sentiment at the top of the window – super happy that it fit in there just right!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!!!

Happy Birthday From All of Us

Hello! Heather Hoffman here this morning with a card using the adorable Sneaky Kitties stamp set – a super fun and intricate image, perfect for coloring when you have lots of time to sit and doodle!

I don’t often take time to slowly color in a detailed image like this, but I was talking on the phone with my parents one day, and started coloring, and before I knew it, we’d been on the phone for an hour, and this entire image was colored!

I added some little dots around the image with some of the same Copics I used to color the image – a great way to add a bit of interest to the background and have it easily coordinate!

I added a few details with a white gel pen, and then matted the panel with a bit of green cardstock and mounted on a kraft cardbase to finish off! Aren’t those little kitties the CUTEST?!?!?

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!!!

Coffee + Kitties

Hello Hello!  It’s Amy here with a couple cards that I’m so excited to share with you today.  First up is a card that combines the Coffee Art + Coffee Loving Critters sets:

I decided to do all my stamping with Memento Rich Cocoa.  I started off with some quick stenciling using Distress Oxide – Antique Linen.   I fussy cut the stacking mugs from Coffee Art and the bunny from Coffee Loving Critters.

I’ve actually been enjoying fussy cutting these days.  It’s been super relaxing for me.

My copic colors I used:

R20 Y15 | Y19
BG13 | BG15
E0000 | E51

I heat embossed the sentiment from Coffee Art in white on kraft cardstock.   I mounted everything on an Aqua panel.  The middle stack of mugs, the bunny and the sentiment have all be adhered with foam squares.   I went ahead and whipped up an extra card especially for today.  I wanted to use Sneaky Kitties and send my girl [the green thumb] some happy mail:

The image has been stamped with Versafine Onyx on Bristol.  It has been colored with Zig Clean Color Markers.

If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you’ll know that green is my favorite color.  It was so relaxing to color this.  For this I colored zig on zig.  I blend with a lighter zig marker.  Do you see the random pops of Zig English Lavender?

I’m super happy how this turned out and think it will make my girl smile.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Friend You’re One of a Kind

Hi crafty friends! It’s Keeway and I’m excited to be guesting on the blog today to share wtih you a fun shaker card using the adorable Sneaky Kitties. I stamped this large image of the kitties in the foliage in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored it with copic markers. Then I used my ScanNCut to cut out the image.

I created a window using a Reverse Stitched Scalloped Circle Window die out of Spiffy Speckles pattern paper in purple. I also die cut the sentiment ‘friend’ using the SSS Friend Outline die out of purple glitter card stock and white card stock. I inlaid the white pieces in the purple outlines and added it below the kitties. And right below that, I stamped the sentiment ‘you’re one of a kind’ from the Sneaky Kitties stamp set.

I decided to make this into a shaker card. The bottom layer was ink blended with Bundled Sage and Antique Linen distress oxide ink, then I used foam tape to frame off the area behind the window. I added so fun iridescent sequins and sealed it off with a layer of acetate.

Finally, added my front panel to the card and mounted the entire piece onto a top fold A2 vertical base card.

That’s it folks! Hope you enjoyed today’s dose of inspiration and have a great week!

Sneaky Kitties and Evergreen Foliage

Welcome everyone… Annette Allen here with you today to share my first design team post on the new Evelin T. Designs blog. I am so excited to be a part of Evelin’s new adventure. Today I created two cards using Sneaky Kitties and Evergreen Foliage stamp set.

First up are those cute little Sneaky Kitties

I stamped the image on the card base and again on a separate piece of card-stock. I took the seconded stamped image and colored it up with Copic Sketch makers. I die cut part of the image and lined it up on my card base using some foam adhesives to give it some dimension.

I had some misc scraps of designer paper and cut them into strips to highlight the colors I colored the image with. Finishing up with stamping the sentiment on some kraft card-stock, trimmed and adhered to card with foam tape.

This second card I created using the newly released Evergreen Foliage stamp set.

I created a stamped background by stamping the same image multiple times. Colored with Copic Sketch markers. Finishing up with stamping this pretty sentiment on designer paper and die cutting this sweet tag. I added some burlap string and tied a bow. The tag is adhered using foam tape to give it some dimension.

Thanks for stopping by today.
